I didn’t feel confident enough to ride the motorbike, so the resort seemed too far from Chiang Rai’s sights and activity for me. When I decided to go into town, I found another hotel online, and the owner kindly drove me there. I moved into Chiang Rai proper and paid nearly twice as much for the room. The free motorbike was part of the overnight rate, and if you’re happy to ride it and don’t plan to spend time in the room because of the lack of natural light, this could be very good value. I stayed one night at the goodtime resort Chiang Rai. It was very clean, and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. What bothered me was the room’s lack of daylight. With the curtains open, it felt a bit like being in a fishbowl.

Free coffee is available, and there were two nice, cold bottles of water waiting in the fridge. The owner was welcoming and really friendly. The room was very clean, and the bathroom had a great design. This was one of the cleanest, best hotels or resorts I’ve stayed in. Prices aren’t too high, and I’d suggest it if you want somewhere safe, clean, and welcoming.

The owner made sure we were comfortable and was so welcoming. My family and I found the rooms clean, neat, and hygienic, which can be hard to find at a good price. It’s within reach of downtown and the night bazaar. One of the best resorts we’ve stayed at in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Highly recommended!

We appreciated that the owners offered their moped so we could go to the walking street, where parking is very hard to find. The rooms were lovely and very clean, with a hair dryer, percolator, and medium-sized fridge. It’s a cozy, quiet place, and the owners were very kind.

The owner was so welcoming and kind. Our clean room had towels folded beautifully on the bed, plus coffee and water. The bathroom was clean too, with a shower cap, soap, and shampoo. I’d highly recommend staying here!
