The main draw is the location, with a 7-Eleven and loads of places to eat and shop within walking or scooter distance. The room was fine for sleeping after a day out, but this is a seedy joint, so check the laundry and toilet carefully. I had to ask for the bed cover and pillow to be changed before I was satisfied. Some toilet fixtures didn’t work, and they moved me to another room the next day. If you’re a very particular tourist, I’d avoid it.

There was no working Wi-Fi during my entire stay, and at 6:42 in the morning they were blowing leaves or sweeping the concrete. Both were unacceptable. A deplorable place with no common sense, hospitality, or basic courtesy.

The area is lovely, with a coffee shop and restaurant there, but 600 baht a night feels expensive for this location and for a room without a table or chair. The air conditioner rattled so loudly it was unbearable and needs fixing. The blanket wasn’t fresh, and there were no slippers. I think you can get a better place for that price.

It’s just outside the city center, next to a nice cafe and restaurant. For 500 baht, two people get a good room with AC, a hot shower, and comfortable beds. The staff were kind and helpful, and let us have three people in a room meant for two, as we’d asked. The one issue was that the online prices didn’t match the hotel’s prices: with Booking, you could pay more than necessary, while an Airbnb booking showed a lower price and then they asked us to pay the difference there. Still, it was a great experience.
