The view from the rooms is lovely, with lots of fish, ducks, and other water birds around this time of year. It’s a great place for anyone who likes nature and a quiet setting, just five minutes from Chiang Rai centre. We booked one night and stayed three. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the service and breakfast were good. Rooms have a fridge, air con, comfortable beds, a choice of big or small pillow, a desk for online work, and a kettle for morning tea or coffee. They face the sunrise, which makes them cozy and warm on cool winter mornings. Fantastic place and host.

The owners were lovely, friendly, and accommodating. They clearly love animals, which I appreciated, and you can even feed the fish. The room had great facilities and plenty of space, with a fantastic view of the pond. The food was amazing and well priced. They make it easy to arrange your next trip or transport, too. A wonderful place, and we wish we could’ve stayed longer.

I liked being able to sit on the private terrace and look out across the large lake beside the bungalows. Saikaew Resort (Huen Sai Kaew Resort) has a peaceful, relaxing feel and is great value. There’s a large parking area in front, a washing machine guests can use, and a small restaurant on site. The owner was very friendly and welcoming.

It’s a little far from the city centre, but the peaceful surroundings made for a very pleasant stay. The owners were even nicer than the already nice hotel, and I’d definitely book again. You can borrow a bike for free, or rent a motorbike very cheaply, with delivery to the hotel. They have lots of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and fish. If you love animals, it’s paradise. I couldn’t recommend it more.

The place has a peaceful, green setting near the beach and local restaurants. My room was clean, roomy, and comfortable, with a cozy design that made me feel at home. The staff were kind, helpful, and always smiling. For a relaxing stay with Thai vibes, great service, and a real vacation feel, I’d highly recommend it. My stay at Saikaew Resort was amazing.
