Breakfast is simple, tasty and free, cooked to order when you come out to the dining room in the morning. The staff are very friendly, though they don't speak English. Since this is Thailand, that's understandable, and Google Translate made it easy enough to communicate. The rooms are on the small side but definitely big enough for two, and the place was clean and comfortable. I was glad to find Oh My Place after looking through lots of hotels and reading plenty of bad Chiang Rai reviews. The location is okay, not far from the city center, but there's a very wide highway to cross and no crosswalks. In the evening, hundreds of birds gather around the intersection by the highway, not the hotel, and it can feel like bird poop is raining down. I wouldn't recommend walking there. A Grab ride is short and cheap to anywhere you want to go.

Choose one of the last few rooms rather than the first, since you can clearly hear footsteps as people walk past. The bungalow has a cosy, comfortable feel, like living in a big house, with a boutique style and a large, safe parking area outside. Breakfast was decent, though very basic.

For the price, you get good value. The building and rooms are new and well equipped. Breakfast is very modest, though that's understandable for the price. You can literally hear everything inside and around the house, but luckily it's quiet at night. It's not well located for exploring CR on foot. Still, you need some kind of vehicle in this town anyway, so that's not much of an issue.

The owner was always willing to help, and the staff were polite and nice. It felt cozy and clean, and Oh my place! is a lovely spot in town, with a home-like feel that I’d recommend. Taking off a star because there’s no elevator and the stairs are high, which could be a problem if you’re afraid of heights. 💖

Breakfast gets pretty chaotic during the rush, but there’s Nutella, which was such a nice surprise. It’s a small, cozy hotel with clean rooms and lovely decor. I’d definitely stay again.
