One Budget Hotel Chiangrai Stadium

The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and there’s a mini fridge. It’s near a supermarket, has a nice atmosphere, and costs very little. A few things could be better: no slippers or dental kit, and the room card didn’t always work well. Also, you have to press a button on the water heater to turn on the shower, which felt a bit silly.

I stayed for two nights and found the place really clean. The price felt cheap for the level of cleanliness and quality. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, though there is a Big C minimarket for essentials. I’d recommend it to people visiting Chiang Rai.

Getting around is the main drawback, since there’s not much nearby and you’ll need a cab unless you have your own transport. But the room was modern and well maintained, and I was surprised it cost so little. The local eateries are very good too. Nobody seemed to speak English there, but people were quick to help me place an order.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable. The room was exceptionally clean and a good size for two or three guests. It also works well for people with mobility challenges. I’d give it 15/10!
