The breakfast tasted good, and the owner has more than 10 years of hotel experience. Rooms are clean and reasonably priced, though the outlets aren't very close to the bed, which is inconvenient if you like charging devices while in bed. The Dorm Chiang Rai also has rooms for monthly or yearly rental.

You don't have to share a room or shower here despite the name. The rooms are very nice and have balconies, and there's an in-house restaurant serving Thai and Western food. It's a family-run business with polite, friendly people.
