Pak Ping Ing Jai

The gardens were one of the best parts, with trees, flowers, and water giving the house plenty of privacy. You can tell they've put a lot of care into the grounds and layout, and it's a lovely place to unwind. The homestay itself was clean and beautiful, with houses that blend traditional Thai and European styles. It's a bit farther from the city, but that meant finding local gems away from touristy spots, which made our stay better than our friends' experience with tourist traps. The hosts were a sweet couple who shared great tips for nearby temples and a beautiful waterfall, and took us to local villages so we could experience the area. They even made us coffee and breakfast, a bonus we hadn't expected. This was our best stay in northern Thailand. We'll definitely come back 🥰

I've stayed here twice on trips to Chiang Rai. It's peaceful beside the river, with fresh air, and the White Temple is a short walk away. The owners have been kind about making simple homemade breakfasts, and there's a rooftop balcony to relax on. The only drawback is the 20-minute drive into the city. I'd recommend it to anyone with a vehicle who wants somewhere quiet.

The room was lovely, and the garden was beautiful. The shower was fine and the toilet was proper, though the flush only worked now and then. We paid in advance, and the owners were welcoming. Over morning coffee, the older hostess sat with us and kindly answered our questions. The White Temple is just a five-minute walk away.

There’s a nicely kept lawn and garden, and the place has a lovely European-style feel with beautiful surroundings. The rooms are comfortable and within walking distance of the sights, especially the White Temple. Singha Park is a short drive away. There’s a TV, kitchenette, sink, refrigerator, and air conditioning.
