Rooms @ Chiang Rai Condotel

I live here now, and it’s the best place ever. The restaurant and superb pool are great, and there are yoga classes too. The staff are wonderful, kind and helpful, and their English is very good. The mini mart is convenient, the fresh market is very close, and there’s good home laundry and sewing service.

For a multi-storey hotel this far from the town centre, the basics should really be better. The sheets had been used before, the bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, and usual amenities were missing. At this price, you get what you pay for. I’d spend a little extra for somewhere nearer town with the essentials.

Those three yoga classes each day were professional and a lovely way to unwind. The rooms, pool and gym were beautiful, and I enjoyed the stay so much that I’ve talked my wife into moving to Chiang Rai sometime in the next 10 years. Loved room 701!

The location is nice, and reception is friendly with decent security. The condos have been getting a lot of renovations, so many are basically new. The restaurant sometimes isn’t open when it’s supposed to be, like Monday morning. I’ve also heard there are yoga classes nearby.
