I stayed in a clean, quiet female dorm in this small hostel. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, including with Laos visa prep and slow boat arrangements. The location is good, a little away from the night market and town centre but still walkable. Breakfast was included: boiled eggs, toast, margarine, jam, fruit, and cookies. Coffee and tea were free too, and there was refillable drinking water. Good value for the price.

The owner was so friendly and ready to help with anything. He even arranged a scooter for us, delivered to the hostel within minutes. The room and shared spaces were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, with boiled eggs, toast, a bit of jam, and cookies. A really nice Chiang Rai stay, everything was great and I'd definitely recommend it.

The man who runs the hostel works hard to keep it clean, and he puts together a free breakfast too. My bed was comfortable, and the location was good. Probably one of the best hostels I've stayed in, I had a fantastic experience.

The owner is so kind and helpful. There's a scooter rental pamphlet, and he helped me pick the cheaper option. I booked one for 200THB/24 hour, and it was delivered to the hostel. Really convenient! The room was clean, with a towel and blanket provided, and the AC was okay. Breakfast was included and pretty proper: boiled egg, toast, snacks that changed each day, fruit, and coffee or tea. All that for the price, wow. Staying at Stay In Hostel Chiang Rai was really convenient. If I could give more than 5 Star, I would! I really recommend it. Best of luck and terima kasih!

Such a cute hostel. Our private room was lovely, the AC worked well, and the toilets and showers were clean. Breakfast was simple but good. Matt was really friendly and gave us some helpful sightseeing tips.
