The Rama Residence Chiang Rai

I booked a twin king bed room, but it smelled like a toilet. I called the staff, and they came to clean it. Even after they cleaned, the smell was still there. I'd give this hotel no stars.

I booked a triple deluxe room for my elderly parents, with a king-sized bed and a twin bed. It was really large, nicely maintained, and spacious enough for three people to sleep and stay comfortably. My grandparents absolutely loved it, and the location was convenient too. Our standard double room for two was surprisingly roomy as well. It had a desk for work or relaxing, lots of storage, a clean bathroom with shower caps, soap, and shampoo, plus a little balcony. The only downside was a tiny gecko in the room when I arrived. I got it outside safely, so it wasn't a big issue. Both rooms were great, and I was really happy with our stay. The hotel's convenient location made exploring the area easy.

The room was spacious, and I thought the hotel was cheap. The bathroom water pressure, though, was very weak.

I've never stayed in a dirtier hotel. The floor was dirty, the table sticky, and everything covered in dust. Bedding on one bed looked used, and there was mold on the walls that looked like something was leaking from it. The hotel was old too, with door handles mounted upside down. I can't understand all the five-star reviews. I don't recommend it.
