The locals are friendly, and there weren't many tourists around. There's a walking street close by, though check which days it's open. The house is lovely, right by the beach, and Laem Thean view point is just a five-minute walk away. I'd come back!

It has that family feel I really liked as an expat in Bangkok. The mom and daughter were downstairs, but they didn't intrude, and it felt a bit like staying with a family. The female dorm beds are comfy, each with its own outlet and light, plus there's a locker for your things. The hostel itself is simple but comfortable, full of character and little details. I even came back at night to find lights all along the alley and more in the courtyard. Great value for the price.

A few minutes' walk gets you to the beach, which was great for watching the sunrise, but the hostel is set back enough from the main beach road that traffic didn't keep us awake. We felt relaxed as soon as we came in. It's artsy and homey, with lots of care put into the furnishings and decor. The rooms were meticulously clean, the staff were friendly, and they even cooked breakfast just for us. My favorite place to stay in Bangsaen, and the location is perfect.

A family runs this lovely little hostel, and it's in a great spot. Each bed comes with a privacy curtain and you also get a locker. Such a beautiful place.
