The garden is lovely, with old trees, and there’s a car park. We also found a mixed rice shop just opposite that was convenient to walk to, with delicious food, and a unique dessert shop right next door. The hotel itself looks grand and has big rooms, but there were lots of irritating flies in the lobby. I was disappointed with the room because I would have preferred one facing the entrance side. The phone line didn’t work, the washbasin leaked, and the fridge and bathtub were dirty and not properly cleaned. There was no flask in the room, just two glasses, so definitely no room service. The price was 990 THB, and I’d hoped for a beautiful hotel with better facilities. I arrived in Chumphon by bus at 8:30 PM and panicked because there were no tuk-tuks or taxis, only Grab and motorbikes. In the end I had to ride with an old uncle on a small motorcycle. It was terrifying, and I held tightly onto the back of his vest. Luckily, the ride to the hotel took less than five minutes. I hope management repairs the things that need fixing. It seems like just a bit of touching up wouldn’t cost much, and better facilities would make guests happier and bring in more customers and tips.

I keep choosing this place when I stay in Chumpon because of where it is. Street food, restaurants, and other businesses are close by, especially when it isn’t raining. There’s also lots of safe parking, and the hotel is quiet and comfortable. I booked a room for three, two adults and one child. Even though I’d paid for breakfast online, they charged extra for the child. I live in Thailand, and this only happens here. The front desk staff weren’t very friendly, but the location is why I stay.

The rooms are large and the location is good, but wind makes the sliding windows rattle at night, which is disturbing. The hot water comes from a central supply, and I usually ended up showering with cold water.

A quiet, peaceful place with clean, spacious rooms that are well kept. Check-in and check-out were easy.

It’s a basic but decent hotel, clean and quiet. We were on the third floor, and the mattresses were firm. The buffet breakfast was simple and included, with hot Asian dishes, porridge, fried rice and curry, plus some toast and coffee. The location is handy. You can walk to the main streets for food stalls selling chicken rice, noodles, and all sorts of fried food. It’s also near Ocean, a small mall, and some clothes shops. Not the best hotel, but it was okay.
