There are plenty of restaurants close by, all easy to reach on foot. My room was spotless and had a lovely ocean view. I’d recommend staying here. Just be aware there isn’t a sandy beach.

The breakfast was the weak point for me. It’s prepared in a local style and doesn’t feel very professional. The place is affordable and has a nice atmosphere. The four rooms at the front cost 800 baht each and look out toward the sea, though there’s a road between them and the water. Rooms at the back are 700 baht each without a sea view, and the sea isn’t suitable for swimming.

There was nowhere for me to check in, since the hotel has no reception staff and only one housekeeper. I couldn’t speak with the owner, who left the housekeeper to deal with everything. I’d booked weeks ahead through the hotel’s own Facebook page, but when I arrived during Songkran, they said they had no rooms and claimed I’d never booked. I still had the chat logs with the hotel admin. They refused to take responsibility, and with no one there to answer for anything that might happen, I wouldn’t count on getting help if something went wrong. Don’t book!
