The noise kept us awake: dogs in other rooms barked through the night. The hotel was also under construction with no proper entrance, so we had to drag our bags through sand and mud. There’s no elevator, and my request for a downstairs room when booking was refused. The balcony was tiny, there was no towel bar, and the only furniture was a bed, table, and cheap plastic chair. The TV was so small that we watched movies on my 13-inch laptop instead, since its screen looked bigger even at the end of the bed. The room was full of ants, including on the bed. My Thai wife asked for insect spray, but the hotel only offered mosquito spray. There was also no bathroom trash can, facial tissue, bathroom fan, or coffee or tea. The shower had a cheap curtain instead of a glass divider. We stayed two nights in December 2025, booking through Agoda. I can’t recommend it. This felt like a “Thai style” hotel that doesn’t meet Western standards but charges a “Western” price. It shouldn’t show up in Agoda searches filtered for ratings of 9 and above.
