Kerton Hostel

I’ve never reviewed a hostel before, but Kerton impressed me enough to write one. It’s quiet and relaxed, and the clean, comfortable, stylish room feels more like home than any hostel I’ve stayed in. For such a low price, you get a lot: it’s near the night market, beach, and other things to do, with a fridge, microwave, free water, and somewhere to do your laundry. The staff are amazing, and the woman at reception was incredibly sweet and helpful. I extended my stay twice.

I had a great time here and would definitely stay again. The staff were kind, welcoming, and hospitable, and the service was great. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, well maintained, and cleaned regularly. The central location makes it an easy walk to the beach, night markets, shops, and plenty of places to hang out. There’s even a games room with snooker and laundry facilities, plus everything else you need for a comfortable stay. Thanks for looking after me.

Good communal spaces, lots of cleaners around, and a small kitchen area. I stayed in a women’s dorm with good AC, and the upper bunks have proper steps.

We had an accommodation problem, and the lovely woman at reception found us a place for a couple of nights between bookings. She was so kind and always smiling. Best hostel in Lamai, with nice rooms, good AC, and comfortable beds. I stayed five nights and slept like a baby.
