Watching the boats and everyday village life pass by on the peaceful canal was lovely. This homestay sits right in the middle of a fishing village and has a cozy, lived-in feel, more like a friend's home than a hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean, the shower had strong hot water, and there were plenty of drinks and snacks provided. The air conditioning worked really well, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the bed was very comfortable, with spotless sheets and pillows, so sleeping was easy and relaxing. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, offering local tips, transport help, or just a nice chat, which gave the stay a warm, family-style atmosphere. If you enjoy fishing or want to experience local life, being in a real fishing community makes this a great spot. I’d definitely come back and happily recommend it to anyone after a quiet, homely stay in an authentic fishing village instead of a standard tourist hotel.

What a lovely surprise! The room was spotless and the owners very friendly. From the superb terrace overlooking the river, you can admire local fishing life. It’s nice to stroll through the narrow streets of this small island built entirely on the water. Congratulations!

The hosts are lovely and accommodating, and I’m just about to leave this wonderful place. There’s a lovely patio overlooking the river with hammocks. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for anything more. If you’re after an authentic experience, definitely give it a go. If I’m heading to the islands or in the neighborhood, I’ll definitely stay here again.
