Barcelo Coconut Island

The staff were wonderful at every level, from the front-end manager to the grounds and cleaning teams. They were kind and always happy to go the extra mile. We started in a lovely Jacuzzi Luxe room, but it was too hot for the jacuzzi, so we moved to a private pool suite. That was even better: roomy, comfortable, and relaxing, with a great pool of our own. The resort pools and two water slides helped make up for the beach not being that great, and the nightly entertainment was awesome. It’s one of the first stays that’s made me want to try other Barcelo properties. I’d definitely come back here.

The kids' favorite part was definitely the water slides, and breakfast was excellent, with lots of options. We stayed in a spacious three-bedroom villa with amazing views. It’s a bit older, but having a full kitchen was really convenient for our family. We visited over the Songkran holiday, and the hotel seemed a little short-staffed at times, though that didn’t spoil the experience. It was our first visit to Coconut Island and we had a great time. The value for money is impressive compared with hotels in Phuket, and we’d definitely consider coming back.

The peaceful island setting made this a great place to get away from the crowds, with stunning views and a relaxing tropical feel. My room was comfortable, spacious, and clean, and the resort facilities were well maintained. The food was excellent and there was plenty of variety. The staff were friendly and professional, especially Mrs.Toon, and always ready to help with a smile. This was one of my best hotel experiences in Thailand. I’d love to return, and would recommend it to couples, families, or anyone after a memorable island getaway.

Aung made the evenings more enjoyable with delicious, refreshing cocktails and friendly, attentive service. I also want to thank the receptionist team, Hasan, Jhun, Kiew, and First, for being welcoming and professional. They were helpful throughout and made everything smooth and stress-free from arrival. I appreciated having a well-equipped gym to keep up my routine while on holiday. The comfortable sunbeds were perfectly placed for reading, resting, or just enjoying the surroundings. As a woman traveling for relaxation and comfort, I found the stay calm and rejuvenating. It was a lovely, memorable escape, and I’d happily recommend the resort.
