Thongmanee Hotel

This was our second stay here, and we found the bed and pillows comfortable again. Greenway market is within walking distance, and there are some parking spaces. The rate was 790 baht a night, with a 500 baht deposit returned at check-out.

Greenway Night Market is close enough to walk to, and ASEAN Night Bazaar is nearby too, which made it easy to spend evenings shopping, eating, and looking around without taking a taxi or tuk-tuk. The rooms are simple, but clean and well-kept, with the basic facilities you need. Staff were polite and helpful. Thongmanee Hotel is a good fit for a budget stay in Hat Yai. The price is reasonable compared with many hotels nearby, and the comfort and cleanliness make it good value. It isn’t a luxury place, but I’d recommend it to budget travelers who want easy access to the night markets and Hat Yai nightlife.

The room was small but very clean, and the indoor parking was handy, though space is limited. The bed felt too hard for me to sleep comfortably, and being on the main road meant quite a bit of noise. Night market and Central Festival mall are very close. For this price range, the rest was good. The front desk staff welcomed us warmly, spoke English quite well, and enthusiastically recommended room types with a smile.

I had a horrible stay. I was moved between three rooms, and all of them were just as disgusting. There were two cockroaches in separate rooms, ants everywhere, and bugs on the bed. The staff were kind and really helpful, and Greenway Market is conveniently close.
