Hotel Dawa

The only real plus for me was the ample parking. The hotel has a minimalist style, but the rooms don’t even have tables for putting things on or working. The bathroom looked old and dirty, and the room had an old, musty smell. Even basic bottled water costs 10 baht for a small bottle. Breakfast was extremely limited, just porridge and sliced bread. I asked for mama noodle, but they didn’t have any.

I’d book a room facing the farm. The view is incredible, and having a bath while looking out at it is worth the extra cost. This is a clean, simple Japanese-themed hotel in the Thai countryside, with all the amenities you need. It was more affordable than nearby options that didn’t look as nice. Lovely hotel, highly recommend.

I especially liked the buffet downstairs, where you can help yourself to coffee or toast with jam at any time. The place is beautiful, with a lovely view. The Japanese touches have the simplicity and elegance I appreciate, without unnecessary details. The materials all feel quite high quality, and the room has everything you need.

I couldn’t check in, even though my booking was in order. The staff acknowledged it was a system error on their part, kindly refunded the booking, and arranged a room for me at another nearby resort. I was pleased with how they handled it. Excellent customer service.
