The room was clean and the garden was well looked after, but staying here wasn't convenient for me. It’s a long way from the airport and city center, and getting a cab can be difficult. Booking a ride often takes over 20 minutes, and during peak hours I couldn't get a car. The house is 1.5km from the gate of the enclosed neighborhood, with restaurants and convenience stores a few km away, and other everyday facilities also some distance off. The hostess has very strict house rules and often tells guests to follow them in a forceful way. I felt I had to obey every day and stay submissive to her. If I disagreed or didn't follow a rule, she would yell and scream. That made the stay feel neither relaxing nor enjoyable.

The large dining table worked well for us while working remotely, and we were glad to have a gym nearby or exercise in the house. We also liked eating at a cafe close by. Mark had plenty of suggestions for places and restaurants in the area. Our room and the rest of the house were clean and comfortable. Mark and MaeNai were lovely hosts, and we sometimes shared meals with them at home or out. The kitchen is available if you want to cook, and you can use the laundry and dryer for a fee. It’s about 20~ minutes by car from the heart of Chiang Mai, and getting a Bolt, Grab, or InDrive there and back was easy. We liked being outside the busy center. My partner and I stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. We’d love to return when we're in Chiang Mai. The hosts and fellow guests made it a great stay, and we can only recommend it. ❤️ Thank you Mark and MaeNai! 🥰

I was made to feel so welcome, and the whole visit stayed with me. The room was cozy and really nice, the garden was beautiful, and the food was good.

The house was quiet and spotlessly clean, shared by two hosts who are in their late sixties.
