What made our stay feel especially homey was the group of beautiful, cuddly cats. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a shower that could be as warm as we wanted, and breakfast was great. Staff and owner were all friendly and helpful. It’s some distance from Chiang Mai City Centre, but the neighborhood is calm and pleasant, with good restaurants and a lovely local market. A yellow songthaew is a cheap, convenient way to get into town and back. There’s quite a bit to see nearby too, including an elephant sanctuary and Chiang Mai Canyon, so the location can work well for those outings. Highly recommend if you want an affordable, comfortable room in a quieter part of Chiang Mai.

This is a wholesome, inexpensive resort run by Oodie and his family, and it’s a nice enough stay. It’s very, very relaxed, so it suits someone wanting quiet away from city life. One small issue: there’s no “Do not disturb” sign for the door, so housekeeping may come in while you’re still napping in the morning. You might want to keep the door locked, depending on what feels comfortable. Nice stay, though, if you’re ever here in 🇹🇭.

I had a wonderful stay here with my dog. Oodie and his family have made a tucked-away garden retreat in the countryside, with lovely woodland grounds and country walks and bike rides. Breakfast was excellent each day. You can rent a bicycle or scooter for a good price. Pi Oodie is kind, helpful, and always available, even when you're not at their hotel.

Cheap, and the owner is friendly. It’s a lovely place in a quiet area, but you can hear everything from the neighbors. The rooms are basic and a bit worn, and the bed isn’t comfortable.

The toilet facilities were a little run-down, but the owner was friendly and kind. He’s a good woodcarver, and there are wooden artworks all over the place. It’s tucked into a quiet community.
