The rooms are clean and the service is good, which is what matters if you’re here to swim and relax by the beach. It’s a budget hotel right across from the water, so don’t expect luxury, but I found it very comfortable.

The beach is right across the road, and my room was clean with a great view. The staff were polite and helpful. I stayed again on 12/10/2024, and as before, they were more than accommodating. They cleaned the room whenever I asked.

I checked out early after seeing how unsafe the beach was. I spent a couple of hours cleaning it and filled several trash bags, including broken glass, barbed fishhooks, razor blades, and used needles and syringes. It shocked me to see children playing in the sand and walking around barefoot. The hotel itself was nice.

Aom deserves a special mention. She’s always smiling, kind, and ready to help with anything. Her care makes guests feel special. Tawan Resort has a peaceful, comfortable atmosphere and professional service, and I’d highly recommend it.
