The food was horrible and the service was lousy. They brought one plate for my friend and left me watching him eat. When I reminded them we’d ordered two, they said mine was coming. Ten minutes later my friend had finished and I still had nothing. I said I’d waited long enough and no longer wanted it. They didn’t apologize and tried to make me wait a few more minutes. A heartfelt hell no to this place.

The location is fine, close to Bangla street, but the rooms were dirty, with roaches everywhere and stained sheets and towels. We ran out and didn’t stay as planned. They said a refund was impossible when we tried to get one. Communication was poor, and the staff didn’t speak English properly. I’d book somewhere else and rent a scooter to get to Bangla.

After being approached three days in a row to eat there, my wife and I decided to try the Indian food. It arrived within five minutes, though it would normally take 30 minutes. About 30 minutes after we finished, my wife started feeling ill. The next day she threw everything up and ended up with food poisoning. I recommend nobody eat there. It can ruin your vacation.

The hotel was dirty, and the bathroom was moldy. There was one night with no water at midnight. The window curtain was a bedsheet. Even at a cheap hotel, cleanliness needs to be maintained. It’s on one of Patong’s busy roads, and the party noise from people went on until morning.
