Really bad service 😭 My friend accidentally fell asleep inside, and I asked the receptionist to open the main door so I could wake him up. They refused to help.

You can walk to Hatyai Central Festival, and thankfully we were on the first floor since there’s no lift. There’s a kettle in the room, but no mug, and no iron in the room either. You can use one downstairs. Coffee and milo are available for free in the lobby.

The location is so convenient, with Central Mall just a 3 minute walk away, Greenway within 9 minutes on foot, and the bus terminal less than 10 minutes away by car. The room was just as shown on Agoda, and it was spacious and clean. It had a proper fridge, not a minibar, a very big bathroom, strong shower, good AC, a comfortable bed, and a hair dryer. The bed was much softer than in 99% of other hotels in Thailand. There’s also self service laundry on site. We got a welcome ice cream at check in, and the reception staff were quick and friendly. No lift, but the stairs are a good way to burn off all the delicious Thai food. With the mall next door, who needs 7-11? Super value, couldn’t ask for more.

The receptionist with short hair even wrote out a shortlist of Hat Yai tourist spots by hand when I asked. I don’t know her name, but it was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. I also ran into an issue with my return pickup ticket to Satun Jetty, and they helped me out. She even took me to the bus terminal and asked about the new minivan details. I’m so grateful to them. Sawadeekap 😇 It’s a cozy boutique hotel right across from Central Hat Yai Mall, though walking into the city center would be a bit far. They offer free coffee and milk at reception, and the receptionists are very friendly and helpful.
