A good spot if you want somewhere quiet outside Hatyai town. There’s a parking bay by the room, which made it easy for us to park the car or motorbike. The room was quite spacious for two and had a small single-door fridge. The owner can speak English, though the staff can’t very well. That wasn’t an issue for us.

The staff wouldn’t help us call a shop, even so she could pass our message to the shopkeeper in Thai. The smell from a cow pen just over the concrete fence was awful. The pillows were very firm and uncomfortable, and I woke with a sore neck. I also had to walk six rooms away to get hot water, and there was no kettle in the room. The rooms are tiny, suitable if you’re five feet or shorter. Calling this place a “Resort” is completely misleading. The Land of Smiles is an overstatement.

The room was very clean and well worth what I paid. Check-in was easy, and the host was friendly and easy to communicate with. I’m from Malaysia, and parking the motorcycle was easy too.
