La Pause Hatyai

The host was wonderful, kind and knowledgeable, and even helped us get everything arranged for our departure to koh lipe. We stayed just after the flood, so the hotel wasn’t fully operating yet. The café downstairs was still closed because the coffee machine had been damaged, though it looked like it would be a nice place to spend time once open. Our room was spacious, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The hotel feels clean and cozy, a little away from the bustle but still close enough to walk around. The city is gradually coming back to life and is worth at least a full day of exploring on your way to the next destination.

We were glad to have somewhere to keep our bikes in the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in, and they gave us a phone number in case we needed help after hours. There’s no staff around after 8pm, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, and the building has an attractive design. We stayed at La Pause for two nights and thought it was very good value. We’d stay again.

The person in charge made my girlfriend’s birthday surprise happen perfectly. I contacted them through an Agoda message, and after just a short chat she understood what I wanted and went above and beyond. My girlfriend was so touched, and it made the trip unforgettable. La Pause Hatyai is right in the heart of Hatyai, with cafés, shops and local attractions easy to reach, but the hotel still feels peaceful and cozy. The design is lovely, and the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. It’s a comfortable, thoughtful place for couples or anyone wanting a nice stay. I’ll definitely come back.

The staff were great, very helpful, fluent in English and able to suggest local delicacies. You can walk to most places from here, even though it’s outside the chaotic centre. The building has a lovely cozy design, and the café in the hotel is beautiful and relaxing. My room was clean and comfortable. The lighting was a little dim, but that didn’t bother me, and the soundproofing wasn’t great but was acceptable. The hotel has no lift, though the staff mentioned that when I booked. I’ll definitely stay here again. Best!
