The beds were comfortable, the curtains blocked nearly all the daylight, there was plenty of parking across the street, and breakfast was complimentary and good. The staff were friendly and even brought us a kettle when we asked, though it seems kettles are normally only supplied in family rooms. The rooms were a good size and had almost everything we needed. After a few disappointing stays in Hat Yai, we were happy to find a nice hotel that was good value. The town was packed because of a long weekend in Malaysia. This hotel is quite a way outside the city centre, and there’s no elevator.

There’s plenty of safe parking, but the hotel is a bit away from the town centre, so you’ll need your own transport. It’s Muslim friendly and serves halal breakfast. The staff are kind, and the room cleanliness was average but acceptable, with a lotus view.

There’s a good amount of parking, with both covered and open spaces, so you can avoid getting wet even when it rains. The breakfast wasn’t good. Our room wasn’t large, but it fit three single beds, which made it a useful family room since not many hotels in Hatyai have those. The bathroom was clean but tiny. After one person showered, the floor and toilet were all wet. We were on the third floor, and with no lift we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Good workout 😄💪

The hotel is a two-storey walk-up, so don’t expect a lift. It’s about 4km from Lee Garden Night Market, with halal and non-halal restaurants within walking distance. A 7eleven is around 400m away at the junction. Grab cars are easy to find, with fares from TB76 to TB90 during peak hours. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They take a TB200 deposit, refundable at checkout. The rooms and toilet are very clean, and the hotel is well maintained. Breakfast is simple, halal and tasty. I especially like the coffee and orange juice. You can borrow an iron, kettle or hair dryer for a short time at no extra charge. There’s good parking beside and in front of the hotel. I’m really happy here. I’ve stayed countless times, and Lalita hotel feels like my second home. For this price, it’s hard to find hotels with clean, spacious rooms, balconies, cool rooms, friendly staff, parking and a good free breakfast for all rooms. Hope it stays this way. 10/10.
