The quiet surroundings made it easy to get a good night's sleep, though getting to the city centre usually means taking a Grab or tuk-tuk. There are food stalls, a 7-Eleven and even a hospital nearby. Roadside parking is limited, and there's no kettle in the room, so hot water means heading down to the lobby. For the price, those are small tradeoffs. The rooms are clean and roomy, with a full-sized fridge, decent air-conditioning and a bed that feels more ergonomic than plush. There’s space to unpack and even dry clothes on the balcony, which has an outdoor sink. It wasn’t the cleanest, but it did the job. Inside, things are simple and solid, with more switches than I knew what to do with. The housekeepers kept everything spotless and were friendly. Front desk staff were polite and helpful, though a bit shy and not fluent in English. They still tried their best. At night there’s a guard and someone at reception, so you’re not left on your own. M One Residence isn’t winning design awards, and that’s part of why it works.

I keep coming back to M One Residence whenever I visit Hat Yai. It’s conveniently placed for shopping and getting to nearby attractions, and the staff greet you warmly and keep looking after you throughout the stay. The facilities are well maintained, and they consistently try hard to make guests comfortable. The rooms are spacious, very clean and equipped with modern amenities. The beds were especially comfortable, and made for a restful night after exploring. For me, it earns five stars every time. With a 4.7/5 score from 125 guest reviews, it’s an easy recommendation whether you’re in town for work or a holiday.

I liked staying here. The room was spacious and smelled really nice, and it had a refrigerator and balcony. It was only RM76 a night, with roadside parking available. The main attractions are about 2 km away, but booking a Maxim to go anywhere is really cheap. They also require a 500 baht deposit.

I arrived without a reservation on a weekday and was lucky to find a room. It was very clean and spacious, with lots of storage, a large fridge and a big bathroom. If you're driving, most of the main spots are within 10 minutes, so the location works well. The price is worth it. The drawback is that parking is along the roadside rather than indoors, which is inconvenient when it rains.

We booked the Family Room at the last minute, and I'm glad we got one since there aren't many rooms. It suited us as a married couple travelling with another adult and a young child, though we did have to share one toilet. The staff gave us a warm welcome, and the room was clean and spacious. There are only a few parking spaces. It's about a 10-minute drive to Hat Yai Central, and next time I'm in town, I'd stay here again.
