P'Residence

I'm a budget traveler and don't spend all my holiday in hotels, so this place suited me well and felt worth the money. It was clean and tidy. The one drawback is that it's quite a distance from the city area. I'd definitely come back on my next visit.

This is a budget room in an apartment, and P residence was accommodating during our stay. It was quiet at night unless children in a nearby room were making a fuss, which you just have to put up with. The bathroom was okay, the hot water worked, and the air conditioning worked really well. There's a 7-Eleven nearby for snacks. The location is great for walking to Kim Yong street market and Lee garden plaza, including the Night market bazaar. Central Hat Yai Mall is 3.2km away, and a Grabcar costs only 60Baht.

Parking is limited, and some guests have mentioned toilets that smell. Still, the hotel is close to well-known markets and shopping areas, with plenty of food options nearby, and it offers good value for a budget stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, with air conditioning, a balcony, and toiletries replenished daily. Staff were attentive, enthusiastic, and fluent in English. They could also meet early check-in needs.

The staff were welcoming and polite, and the busy area outside was surprisingly quiet from inside the room. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, and everything worked. There was nowhere to store clothes, which was the one downside. For the price, it's a great hotel, and I'd stay here every time.
