Perfectroom Mansion

We were a group of five and asked for connecting rooms, but there was a misunderstanding and we ended up with separate rooms side by side. Maybe connecting rooms aren’t available, as the hotel seems quite old. The outside looked recently renovated, and although the building has aged, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a fridge, TV, and balcony. There was no hair dryer in the room, though I didn’t ask if one could be provided. It took about 10 minutes by car to reach most tourist spots. The hotel is between Lee Gardens Hotel and ASEAN Night Bazaar, and Nora Plaza, a souvenir place, is a 12-minute walk away. A 7-Eleven and Mini Big C Mart are both about five minutes on foot. They don’t provide an iron or ironing board, but staff kindly used the steam iron in the laundry room to help with my clothes. I might bring a travel iron next time. The staff were nice. The receptionist understood only a little English and didn’t speak Malay, but the housekeeper did speak Malay with us. We had a nice stay.

The room was cozy, with a large balcony and a really clean, modern bathroom.

The place is worn out. There was no proper extra bed, no daily housekeeping, and no telephone.

It was okay, but the air conditioner was too far away to cool the whole room properly.
