You get what you pay for, and it’s still good value. The bed was fairly soft and comfortable, with two bottles of drinking water, bath gel, and shampoo provided. Some things were broken, including furniture, the light outside the room, and the TV remote.

For this price range, I’d give it five stars. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. I visited in low season and got to choose my room. It has the basics you need to rest while travelling. There’s no electric kettle, though, so you’ll need to get hot water from the dispenser at the check-in counter. Bring a flask.

I was really surprised by how spacious the standard room was. The water flow was good, the air conditioner worked well, and there were lots of mirrors. It was almost perfect, but the receptionists’ attitude made me reconsider booking. Both people working that day, 30/5/24, were unprofessional. They didn’t greet guests or bother explaining anything. It wasn’t just because I’m Malaysian, Thai people got the same treatment. Also, there’s no lift, so it’s not suitable for elderly guests.

The room was clean and smelled nice, and the location is strategic. Parking was easy, and the receptionist spoke Malay, which made things nice and easy. The appliances are old, though, and there’s no iron.
