The location works well: shops and restaurants are a five-minute walk, and Patong Beach is about twenty minutes away. The building has a good view on either side, either over the pool or across the city. Surin and Bang Tao Beach are a short way north; Karon and Kata Beach are even closer to the south.

It's suited to a short visit or a longer stay, since it's away from busy Patong and the nightlife. From a high floor, you can see the hills and natural scenery. A corner unit is the best spot, of course.

I've stayed here four times, for a month each time, and really liked the location. The place is secured with CCTV. You get nice mountain views from the right side of the building, and there's street food, bars, restaurants, and everything else within walking distance.

The city is loud and lively at night, but up on the hill I could sleep in peace. I was glad to have somewhere quiet to come back to after three long days around Patong, which was enough time to see the debauchery and festivities on Bangla Road and nearby. The apartment was nice, on the 6th floor, with a good view over Patong. A scooter made getting around easy. Walking is possible too, though I’d take a tuktuk uphill on the way back.
