The Habita Hatyai

The service was friendly throughout my five days here, and the toilets were clean. Drinks in the fridge were complimentary and topped up daily; they also included snacks, especially good fried banana chips, plus a 3-in-1 coffee mix each day. The bathroom arrangement is the one thing I wouldn't want again. There's an opening at the top and a frosted glass door for privacy, which might be fine alone or with a partner. I prefer a fully enclosed bathroom. Let's just say this setup doesn't contain certain... aromas very well. 😅

The Habita has a lovely feel, with greenery around and charming service. I especially liked the cafe and lounge, with its board games and big wall of books, and the lobby feels modern but down to earth. The rooms are huge and have a separate living area, plus two air-conditioning units and TVs, which was a surprise. There's also a complimentary minibar with drinks and local treats. Parking is the only downside, though I didn't really mind the limited space.

The Habita Hatyai was new, clean, and very comfortable, and we had a generally good stay. Street parking is limited, but we managed. At checkout, they said the teaspoons from our room were missing and charged us for them. We're sure we hadn't taken them, so it may have been a housekeeping mix-up after checkout. We were rushing to drive home and didn't have time to dispute it, so we paid and left. There was also an unpleasant toilet smell after each use that seemed like a sewerage issue.

The room was very clean, spacious, thoughtfully arranged, and cleverly decorated, and the location was excellent. The toilet and shower are separate. Beds were reasonably comfortable, and there was a kettle and hairdryer in the room.
