The owners were helpful and spoke great English, and the Wi-Fi was good enough for streaming. I also liked having fans, individual lights and outlets, lockers, and air conditioning that worked well. The hostel sits inside an American-style BBQ restaurant serving pulled pork and ribs. It’s in the middle of Hua Hin: restaurants are a minute away, the beach is a five-minute walk, and the train station is about ten minutes on foot. A really well run place.

My train didn’t leave until 10 pm on checkout day, and though checkout was at noon, they let me stay in the common area until it was closer to departure. The owner also gave me free water and useful information about Hua Hin. The place was very clean and up to date.
