Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort

We found the pet-friendly setup well worth it. They provided two pet beds, pee pads and 2 pet bowls for the room, with a large outdoor pet relief area and a huge pool designated for pets. They charge 1000 bhat per day for the 2nd pet, so be aware of that, and bring a stroller for them. Please pick up after your dogs, don’t leave them barking in the room or make a hairy mess. That sort of thing can make hotels less welcoming to pets and reduce choices for those of us who look after ours. The rooms are beautiful, and our issue with the room was handled exceptionally well by upper management, especially Sabrina. As people who travel a lot, we really value staff taking concerns seriously. Big points for the staff here. Sandra was awesome too, as were the door man and housekeeper, who always acknowledged our dogs, Mia and Gucci. The location is perfect, right on the beach on one side and connected directly to the Bluport mall on the other, with a devoted pet friendly floor. The mall has very affordable food with lots of choices, plus a great supermarket and banks. Hotel breakfast is 600bhat pp per day. It’s a handy place for a first stay in Hua Hin, to get used to the area and meet visa requirements.

The property itself is beautiful, and I enjoyed the room, the view, the food, the friendly staff and the pleasant hotel atmosphere. The room was comfortable and lovely. But check-out was seriously disappointing. I booked using an Amex rate benefit that included a USD 100 hotel credit, and at check-in no one clearly explained how to use it. I wasn’t given anything in writing to review either, which left me confused and made check-out unpleasant. I sent the hotel an email with constructive feedback, but never received a reply. For a hotel of this level, I expected clearer communication about guest benefits and a more professional follow-up after a concern was raised. The lack of clarity and response left a disappointing final impression.

It was my friend's first visit to Thailand, and we all had a really good time here. The club lounge was cozy, and the rooms and facilities were neat and good. This was my third stay in this paradise, and the warm hospitality was just as welcoming as before. Everyone's smiles and friendly manner made our time enjoyable. Special thanks to the Front desk team, K.Fiew, K.Annie, K.Jasmine, K. Lisa, K. UM, the Thai Boxing instructor, K. Nhong, the maid at the poolside bar, and Azure Restaurt's K. Hack and K. Keng. I look forward to coming back.

We spent 5 fantastic nights here. The location worked really well, with Blueport Mall right there and the other mall about a 15 minute walk away. The beachside pool is beautiful and looks out over the beach. Breakfast was lovely, with different choices each morning. Our room was very nice and serviced regularly, and everyone on staff was polite, helpful and respectful. An excellent hotel in every way.
