It’s a beautiful property, thoughtfully designed, with pleasant common areas, a pool and gym. The staff are polite, and the entrance security works well. Some guests aren’t considerate of the local culture, even though the rules are clear and reasonable. They only seem to be addressed after someone complains, rather than having the rules actively enforced. More proactive management would make the stay more comfortable and improve the atmosphere.

The hotel itself is nicely designed, especially the lobby, and the staff were friendly. The parking attendants by the bicycle parking area were especially nice. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were okay, but that was about all I liked in the room. It smelled strongly unpleasant and felt basic and not very clean. The room was about four square meters smaller than the booking page said, which was disappointing. We killed around 30 mosquitoes in the first couple of hours. The mosquito net had a huge gap, so it didn’t protect the room and we couldn’t leave the balcony door open. The air conditioner blew straight onto the bed and couldn’t be adjusted, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. For the price, the experience wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it. Smokers should know that smoking isn’t allowed on the balcony or anywhere on the property. There’s just one designated spot behind the building at the edge of the parking lot, between the bushes. It’s an ashtray on gravel, without a bench or other seating.

Friendly staff, clean apartments, and a great pool area. The location is handy for a holiday, close to the Ciscada market and a few hundred meters from the beach.

I love this residence and where it is. You’re close to everything, so there’s no need for a car to get around.
