It’s great value, and despite being near restaurants and bars, the place stays really quiet. There are heaps of places to eat and drink just a short walk away. The pool is decent and gets afternoon shade. The bungalow was nice, with a comfortable bed, though the room itself was just OK. The water pump for our room didn’t seem to be set up right, so the shower water pulsed a bit. No big deal.

The pool was great, and the room had a comfy bed and full size fridge. It was cleaned every day, and the staff were friendly. Very clean and quiet, while still close to everything, including restaurants and bars within walking distance. There’s no restaurant or gym, but they’re nearby. Highly recommend it, and I’ll absolutely stay again.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they rent scooters too. I got a well-maintained Honda PCX for 250 baht a day, which made it easy to explore the area. La Or Resort is also close to lots of restaurants and the lively Baan Khun Por Food Court, where there’s live music every evening. The resort is spotless, the rooms are well maintained, and there’s a lovely pool for cooling off and relaxing. It was comfortable and convenient, with great service.

This isn’t a gleaming chrome five star resort, but it’s welcoming and good value. The semi-detached villa around the pool was a good size, and the room was clean with everything working. Nice pool, coffee shop and friendly staff. The location seemed OK, though I only stayed one night. I can recommend Friends bar down the road for live music that’s good quality and not too loud, with nice service and atmosphere.
