The hot water took about 10 minutes of running the tap to get above lukewarm, and the toilet and bathroom doors had no latch, so they swung partly open and wouldn't stay shut. They also provided only one tea bag of each type per room. On the good side, the location is great, the rooms are roomy, and the basic facilities are decent. There's also a very nice children's room full of toys and a small indoor playground.

The staff really made the stay special. Everyone was warm and professional, and seemed to anticipate what we needed. The rooms are remarkably spacious, the Moroccan-style design is beautiful, and the buffet food is delicious and high quality. There's also a huge pool that stays open late. Construction next door is a significant downside. The project is in its early stages and may last 1-3 years, with noise starting early in the morning. I'd avoid the cheapest rooms and those facing North. A sea-view or South-facing room should be quieter. With the service and spacious design, it's still a fantastic choice if you choose your room location carefully.

I won't return to a resort where tee's ego seems to matter more than customer service. Mistakes happen, but tee kept arguing that he hadn't done anything wrong and dismissed what I was telling him. I had called ahead to book a lunch table and explained that I had an infant who couldn't stand the heat, so I hoped the table would be ready when we arrived. The restaurant staff hadn't been told about the booking, but they did their best to look after us. I was still upset and went to ask the front desk about my call. Tee repeatedly said I hadn't called, even after I showed him my phone records. I remembered the call, so I asked if I'd spoken to a ghost. He then complained that I'd sworn. I didn't know that saying “ghost” was a swear word. Being accused of that and having my experience denied, followed by a nonstop argument, wasn't the service I expected after paying for a resort stay.

Khun Piya went above and beyond to look after us and made the vacation extra special. We also want to thank Khun Fah, Khun Brave, and Khun Pond. The staff were exceptional, and the facilities and breakfast were great. The location was convenient for everything. Thanks to everyone for such a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The hotel was great!
