The value for money just isn’t there. There are better apartments to rent in Hua Hin for 30,000 baht a month. The rooms are badly run down, and some landlords still break the law against short-term rentals, which could mean you end up paying a fine. The pool is noisy, and some loungers get claimed with towels early in the morning. Equipment in the pool between two residential units is seriously damaged, and the beachside bar and its small pool are gone.

Good spot, with shops, massage places and restaurants all close by. The pool is big and clean.

I made a booking and realized almost immediately that I’d picked the wrong city. It was a non-refundable reservation, but I asked the owner to waive the fee since it was an honest mistake and I caught it straight away. He refused and was rude to both me and his employee.

Staying in the Amari residence condo was great. The hotel and condo staff were really nice and helpful, and the place is close to the beach, shopping and sightseeing. Very relaxing, and well worth the money.

The grounds are huge and there were hardly any people around, but the shared fees are expensive.
