The Moon Hostel Hua Hin

The hostel is right among the city centre streets, with the night market, Hua Hin beach, food, 7-11, massage places, and even the van ticket counter and Bangkok pickup point all close by. I booked two nights and ended up adding a third. I’m a very light sleeper, though, and the street noise through the window in the four-bed women’s dorm was too much, so I switched to the windowless eight-bed women’s room. It was wonderfully quiet. Both rooms had soft, comfortable beds and sheets, and the bathrooms stayed clean. The AC, Wi-Fi, and hot showers all worked reliably. I also liked the big, well-equipped kitchen and communal lounge, where you can watch and hear the neighborhood around you. The front desk woman was friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is to replace the rental towels, which are very thin and don’t absorb much. I’d recommend staying here.

Getting around from here was easy, and the owner even took photos for me. He was friendly and welcoming, not at all arrogant, and the price was reasonable. The bedroom, bathroom, and shared space were all clean and attractive. Everything felt convenient, and it wasn’t hard to find a bus to go elsewhere. If you’re planning a Hua Hin trip and need somewhere to stay, I’d recommend this place.

The location is so good, right among lots of places to go. I was really happy here, honestly it’s the best hostel I’ve stayed in. There are different kinds of rooms, a large shared room and kitchen, and a rooftop too. It’s very clean, and the toilets and showers felt nice and safe for women. The price is really cheap, and the staff are polite and lovely.

The city centre location is fantastic, with the night markets, beach, shops, and other sights all walkable. It’s a clean, comfortable hostel with a spacious, nice room and the essentials you need. The AC could use a bit of improvement.
