The team at Thipurai Annex made our 34 days there feel like home. Koi, the office manager, kept an eye on everything with real care. Priaw at morning reception started each day with a cheerful welcome, while Kor on nights kept us laughing and made us feel looked after like family. Wol and Fon kept the room spotless and comfortable, with thoughtful little touches. The rooms were comfortable and the location near Hua Hin Beach was perfect, but it was the warmth and respect from the staff that stood out most. The owner also has a graceful, quietly strong presence, and you can sense her pride and heart throughout the hotel. It was hard to leave. I'm grateful for the memories and friendships, and will miss the whole team. If you want a welcoming place with sincere Thai hospitality where people treat you like family, Thipurai Annex is a gem. I hope to come back someday.

I liked the room and really enjoyed my stay a few weeks ago. After getting home, I noticed I'd left a mobile device behind. The staff found it and mailed it back to me. Their help went well beyond what I expected, and I'm grateful for the effort.

The room and bathroom were spotless and in great shape. Even the high-quality linens were perfectly clean.

It's a quiet hotel and comfortable enough, with the beach and major shopping malls nearby. There wasn't a chef on most of the days I was there, but beer and cold drinks were available. The hotel's good pool is about 50 metres away. Good value overall.

The room was in rough shape, from the old, noisy TV and fridge to the air conditioner, which changed modes during the night even when set manually. The bed was two mattresses pushed together, and one had completely sagged; its metal springs made noise. The old, dirty blue fleece under plain white sheets was unpleasant, and the toilet smelled strongly. There are narrow stairs and no elevator. There wasn't coffee or tea, just a water heater, apparently for plain hot water. It felt like the owner wasn't putting any money back into the place, since things were worn down, dirty, or broken. I've stayed in eight hotels in Thailand so far, and this had the worst price-to-quality ratio. You can find better, cheaper hotels nearby. Worst!
