It was okay.

I'd pass on this place.

If you're staying here because it's near the hospital, keep in mind taxis are hard to find around there. For the walk from the train station, it's about 2 kilometers to the resort, so leave early enough to take in the old Chinese houses along the way, especially if you're coming from the hospital early. If you have your own car, getting around is convenient. The hotel is quite old. Water pressure was good, but the floor tiles shifted and felt uneven underfoot, and the air conditioning didn't cool very well. You pay by the day before checking in, directly to the guard at the entrance. It's the closest option in the area and reasonably priced, apparently the cheapest nearby, but there were no blankets, and the TV didn't work. There was no refrigerator either. I had arranged a morning shuttle, but they didn't answer the phone. I figured, hopefully, they might have had urgent business both morning and evening. I meant to cover the gas. I'd asked a noodle shop to deliver something for me using an old 100 baht note my dad had collected, but I grabbed the wrong bag by mistake. I also gave the guard who dropped me off 50 baht for gas. He first refused, then gave me 100 baht as a tip because I accidentally broke his bathroom doorknob after he slipped in the bathroom. Watch out for standing water, and keep the bathroom ventilated so it dries faster. He didn't charge me, so I gave him my deposit. In the end, things went well. That's my honest review, in case anyone wants to use their service.

The owner is lovely. It's not far from the city, and works as a place to stay while passing through.
