I usually stay at TK residence in Kalasin, but after a misunderstanding I booked Chada for a second time. The main reason I prefer Chada is that it's much quieter, which matters most to me. It has only two floors, an easy parking setup, a better shower heater in room 212, and the fridge is already cold. Its downside is no breakfast, and you need a car to get to a restaurant. At TK Residence, the room is cleaner and warmer, the walls aren't damaged, breakfast is included (basic), and the bed is larger at 160. Some restaurants, 7-Eleven and CJ are close by. But it has four floors and no elevator, it's noisy because it's near the main road, the fridge is unplugged when you arrive, parking in the main lot is limited, and the English is poor. Both hotels have the shower and toilet separated.

The room was in a separate building, spacious and very clean, and I got a really good night's sleep. I liked the location for its quiet and privacy. Food was a bit of a problem since the nearest restaurant was far away, so we got takeaway. Breakfast was okay, just standard, but I was glad they provided it. We stayed one night.

Our room was quite noisy, with the highway and a nightclub next door. It was also very dirty. The receptionist who checked us in wasn't friendly at all.

I booked two rooms about a week ahead, but the hotel called to cancel just one day before check-in, giving overbooking as a simple excuse. They should improve the booking system and make it more professional. At least they told me before we arrived instead of waiting until check-in, I suppose. LOL. A really bad first impression on my first trip to Kalasin.
