AP Residence by Pro-Phuket

The condominium itself was lovely, and we enjoyed both the facilities and the location. Our rental in Unit A21, though, turned into a very unfair and stressful experience because of the host. We booked for two months in peak season with four friends because we wanted to visit Phuket and couldn't find a shorter rental. We told the host ahead of time that family might visit during that long stay. My mother planned to spend two weeks with us. The host argued instead of discussing it and demanded another 25,000 THB per person. Since my mother had already arrived and there was nowhere else available in high season, we felt forced to pay. The problems carried on throughout the stay, with the host repeatedly complaining and creating stressful situations. At checkout she came up with a list of “issues” and charged us very high amounts, including around 5,000 THB for several towels. It felt like she was looking for any way to get extra money from tenants. I'd be very cautious about renting from this host. I hope the complex management pays attention and puts some oversight or rules in place for rental operators.
