The clean pool villa, excellent amenities, and attentive service made our stay better than I expected. Beau put so much effort into making our anniversary feel special, and Jaew was genuinely kind and proactive. May made our anniversary dinner memorable. Aom and Duean gave us exquisite service at Ratana Spa, which is a must if you're staying at Ayara Kamala. I'm so grateful for the whole experience. The people made Ayara Kamala Resort & Spa the highlight of our honeymoon. From drivers and front desk staff to the waiters, bus runners, housekeepers, and chefs, everyone was kind, attentive, thoughtful, and professional. Special thanks to Ning. We hope the team knows how much their care meant to us. We also loved the small touches. At check-in we got to choose a candle scent for our room, and snacks and drinks were replenished each day. When a cocktail class was canceled for New Year’s celebrations, Ning and May surprised us with a private one. The food was phenomenal every day, full of color and flavor and beautifully presented. We kept looking forward to the next meal. The mountainside setting was breathtaking, and even our Ocean View Deluxe Room felt like part of a picturesque property. We took tours to an elephant sanctuary, went ziplining five minutes up the hill, and visited the Phi Phi Islands. The drives were longer, but we didn't mind and found them worth it. For us, the location was just right: peaceful and calm, but not cut off. The resort is away from Phuket's chaos, with Kamala Beach about a 10-minute ride on the complimentary shuttle, which runs every two hours. It's in the north of Phuket, so people looking for a big party scene may prefer the south. Taxis and Grab are options, though those areas can be around an hour away. My husband and I wanted beauty and quiet while staying close enough to explore, and Ayara gave us that balance. The warmth and hospitality felt unlike what we experience back home in the States. We live far away, but if we return to Thailand, staying at Ayara Kamala Resort & Spa would be an easy choice. Thank you so much, Ayara! 🤍

The rooms felt 5-star, but the food and service were closer to 3-star, so I'd put the resort around 4 stars rather than 5. The food quality was middling, service was backed up, and they could only make basic cocktails. Staff seemed stressed and low in morale, which came through in their attitude. Massages were just okay, without much technique. We've had better in Asia and expected more from a Thai resort.

The sunrise and sunset views were incredible, and breakfast had so many delicious choices. I stayed at Ayara Resort and Spa Phuket for two days and had a wonderful time. My room was clean, comfortable, cozy, and beautifully designed, like a home away from home. Every staff member I met was welcoming, kind, and genuinely helpful, going out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. I'd happily recommend Ayara Resort and Spa to anyone visiting Phuket, and I can't wait to return! 🌴✨
