Thai Kamala Beach Front

The location is right by the sea, across from the beach, and the room was clean with good facilities. Everything was good. Just keep in mind that the stretch opposite the property isn't really for swimming. Walk around 3-4 minutes toward the middle of the beach for a much nicer place to swim and relax.

The check-in went well, and we got the second-floor room we asked for. It faces the water and docked boats, and the property is on the beach, but I wouldn't stay again. The room was tiny, with little storage, very few outlets, a small fridge, and a cramped bathroom with no room for anything. There was only one switch for all the lights, no bedside reading light, so we had to plug the kettle in beside the bed. The many steps up to the second floor have different levels, and my wife misstepped and hurt her leg.

Room #109 was awful for privacy. It sits about 5 ft from a restaurant/bar, with clutter, trash, noise, and people right outside. There was no way to leave the door open for a breeze without feeling like people were practically in the room, yet we paid full price. The place is run down and poorly maintained, the passage smells of cat urine, and there doesn't seem to be any security. It also doesn't look like the pictures on booking sites. We were so disappointed that we left after one day for another accommodation and gave up our booking fees. Unless you only need somewhere to sleep, I’d pick a place on the road and save the money for dining or other experiences. I rarely write a poor review, but I felt no effort was made to address the gap between what was offered and what we got.

I enjoyed staying here. The staff were nice, and the room rates were reasonable when I visited in Oct2025. The beach was nice too, with rooms right on the beachfront.
