The owners were kind and ready to help with whatever we needed. When we left for a two-night trip at the end of our stay, they let us keep our luggage there and wouldn’t accept extra payment. The apartments are roomy, comfortable, and clean, with a very handy spot just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and lots of restaurants and bars. Our room was cleaned daily, though our towels weren’t changed during the stay.

The price and all that space were a huge plus. My adult daughter and I had a large two-bedroom apartment, with plenty of room for both of us. We stayed nearly two weeks in 2023 and were very happy there. Everything worked, the place was fresh-smelling and spotless, and the housekeeper took great care of it. The owners were friendly and around whenever we needed them. Cafes, restaurants, and the public beach were about a two-minute walk away. We later moved to a hotel to join friends, but regretted it. Apart from being right on the beach, it didn’t meet our needs and cost much more. We highly recommend The Seashore Kamala Service Apartments. Staying with locals made for our best travel experience. Everything you need nearby, with the beach, shops, bars, and restaurants just a few minutes away. The owners are helpful and friendly, and speaking English with them is no problem. The apartment is spacious, with a large bathroom, a clean room made up each day, and a kitchen area with a microwave, kettle, and full-sized fridge. Hot water comes from a heater.

We loved our stay. A lovely family runs the apartments and is always willing to help, including arranging day trips. Our room had a comfortable bed and plenty of space, and Kamala beach is only a few minutes away. I’d definitely recommend the place.

The hotel itself is cool, but our experience was soured by what seemed like an OYO booking scam. You reserve a cheap rate through Oyo hotel for this same location, then the owner doesn’t recognize the booking, leaving you stuck there with no other hotels nearby. OYO branding is still all over the hotel. The owner seems aware of the problem but acts as if he isn’t, and other guests with us had the same issue.
