The owners and manageress took great care of us. They even made breakfast well after service had ended and offered us a free lift to the bus station in her own vehicle. The staff were friendly, and the price was very reasonable. We'd happily come back, thanks for looking after us! Our family found the facilities perfectly adequate, with room to run around, a pool table that's old but works, and darts. The rooms were spotless, and the owners have put money into quality beds and linen that could match any five star hotel. A hidden gem for comfort and service.

We came for the welcoming, incredibly helpful staff and left with a great stay. They took us in their own little van to the "must see" places in Kanchanaburi for a very cheap price, and made everything easy. Thank you! It's a quiet, clean hostel on a peaceful street, about 10 minutes' drive from the city centre. Really lovely people here.

Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean. It's a relaxed, laidback place, and the staff were amazing: warm and welcoming, and able to arrange transport wherever we wanted to go for a good price. We'd definitely return and recommend it. Thanks for having us!

There's a small pool, a little garden to relax in, and space to play pool or badminton. The place was really nice, clean, with a comfortable bed and good linen. Breakfast was English style and cost 20$.

If you want peace, you should stay here once. sawasdee river kwai lodge @Kanchanaburi has rooms at a very good price and friendly staff who speak English. There's free wifi in the lobby, plus a tour desk and restaurant and bar facilities.
