The staff made our stay, always friendly and ready to help. They arranged a private trip to the Emerald Cove and advised us on the best time to avoid the tides and crowds. We nearly had the place to ourselves, and swam out of the caves while a heron fished right beside us. Our friendly boatman even gave us a full tour of the island. The free tuktuk service also made getting around so much easier. We stayed three nights over Christmas in the Private Pool Grand Villa, and it was simply the best place we stayed in all of Thailand. The room was modern and had lots of space to relax. The pool area felt like a jungle hideaway, and on Christmas Day a family of about ten monkeys visited and played for hours. Other highlights were the local wildlife, including macacques, water monitors, and stork-billed kingfishers, plus breakfast pancakes and Christmas Ferrero Rochers. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The shower kept cutting in and out, with very low pressure and water that swung from freezing cold to extremely hot. It was uncomfortable to use. The bicycles were another letdown. All four were rusty and unusable, with broken brakes and very uncomfortable seats. Honestly, better not to offer them in that condition. We spent three nights here and had an amazing stay otherwise. The hotel is beautiful, the staff were incredibly friendly, and our stunning room had direct access to the swimming pool, which felt like a real luxury. I can’t give it five stars because of those problems.

The room was nice and clean, with a big bathroom, and I enjoyed the pool. The food was okay. I’d have breakfast here, then eat elsewhere in town for the other meals.

The hotel was peaceful, clean, and so welcoming, a little bit of paradise. Tid and Gai, two key staff members, were lovely, kind, and helpful. They gave us great advice on hiking to Sabai beach and the best times to kayak to emrald cave. The staff really make the stay here. We had the best two days and only wish we’d stayed longer. Thank you for everything.

They made getting around Ko Mook easy, arranging a scooter at reception and sorting out a private boat trip to Emerald Cave. They also picked us up and dropped us at the ferry. Everyone was so kind, the food was lovely, and the place was clean.
