The Bay Koh Mook

The bungalow was comfortable at night, with good soundproofing in a quiet spot. The AC worked well without being too loud, the shower was hot with decent pressure, and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean, with daily housekeeping, and the bungalows are new, which seems to keep wildlife out better than the older bamboo ones next door. The beach is right by the restaurant, run by a lovely family, and Sivalai beach is a ten-minute walk away. We felt very well looked after and would stay again. A few small things could be better: no extra beach towels, no mosquito net in the bathroom, and daylight still comes through the transparent bathroom door despite the good curtains. Breakfast also isn’t included, and guests don’t get a discount.

The small bungalows are exceptionally clean and good value. The owners are a very nice couple, and their bar and restaurant across the street has great food and a lovely view.

Clean rooms, really friendly staff, and mopeds available to rent. I had a very comfortable stay at the bay and would highly recommend it.

We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. The owner is always smiling, the room has everything you need, and the place is quiet and especially clean, with nice varnou flovers in the garden. There’s a good restaurant nearby, and more bungalows are being built. One tip: exchange money ahead of time, as Xchange sometimes closes unexpectedly and nowhere accepts cards.
